The firm suffered a great loss in January of 2012 when their beloved colleague and friend, Patrick Rafferty, died in Chicago, Illinois. Patrick was a brilliant attorney. His great sense of humor and gentlemenly behavior endeared him to all who came in contact with him.
He is greatly missed by all at the firm and his widow Mimi Wong Rafferty.

Age 61 of San Francisco, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL. Born September 17, 1950 and died January 6, 2012. Beloved husband of Mimi Wong; treasured brother of Nora O'Brien and Paul Rafferty. Loving uncle of John Marguerite (Barbara), Patrick O'Brien (Reagan), Samantha Wong and Michael Wong and great uncle of Carys O'Brien, Lila Grace Marguerite and Maeve Marguerite. Patrick graduated from Glenbard West H.S., Glen Ellyn, IL; received a BA from University of Illinois, Urbana; MA from University of California Los Angeles and JD from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco. Patrick practiced with his good friend and colleague Barry Adams at the law firm of Adams and Rafferty in Santa Rosa for 12 years. He will be remembered as an intelligent lawyer of great capability and as a gentlemen to clients and opponents alike. Patrick loved travel, fine wine and food, fine liquor, classic motion pictures, sporting events, history, the law, and people, especially people. His humor, wit and love of a good time will be forever remembered by his friends and family. He is missed by all who knew him.
